New International Airport of Mexico City

The project for the New International Airport of Mexico City (NAICM), to be built in the Federal Zone of Texcoco, to 14 kilometers from the center of Mexico City and 10 kilometers from the current airport, the area is located within the federal zone belonging to the territory of the municipalities of Texcoco, Atenco and Ecatepec.
It will be built on an area of 4,430 hectares.

In its first phase (2020) will have:

1 Terminal of 743,000 m2 with capacity for 68 million passengers
540,500 operations per year
Control tower
3 simultaneous tracks

At its maximum capacity (2060):

120 million passengers
6 tracks
